As most of you know Lacara are continually investing and improving our database.
Due to this some of the options on our page have changed and we have 2 new / changed areas that will appear on the model cards sent to clients.
The areas are ‘Experience’ and ‘Showreel Link’.
Please login and check the following:
Experience:
This area needs to be professional, only contain relevant experience and not be too wordy. The character count is limited to 300 so keep it short and simple.
If you have no experience please add ‘NEW MODEL’ (some clients want kids with no experience).
You may want to also add dates of professional photo shoots.
PLEASE DO NOT ADD experience that is not appropriate.
Please don’t add unnecessary wording. Please don’t add clothes size. Please don’t add jobs that never happened.
Please do add the brand. Please do add the type of work.
Don’t add anything that a client doesn’t want to read and this box is for EXPERIENCE only! Do not ask clients to ask you for more pictures, do not add your websites.
Layout should be as below.
2018: Mothercare Stills, Next Stills, Boots TVC.
Do not fuss it up with too many words.
PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS WHAT CLIENTS WILL READ, PLEASE ENSURE SPELLING ETC IS PERFECTION!
Showreel Link:
This is a space to add a link to your showreel which needs to be a you tube or Vimeo link. If your child does not have a showreel it is advisable to add a self tape:
- HOLD YOUR PHONE LANDSCAPE.
- CHOOSE A PLAIN WALL AND GOOD LIGHT.
- CHILD NEEDS TO GIVE A SHORT INTRODUCTION, NAME AGE, ‘MY AGENCY IS LACARA’ AND WHAT THEY LIKE/HOBBIES.
- THE TAPE SHOULD BE NO LONGER THAN 30 SECONDS. PLEASE THEN UPLOAD THE VIDEO TO YOU TUBE.
Please note that it is possible to upload to you tube as ‘unlisted’ This means that it cannot be found by searching, the only way to find it is with the given link.
For babies. Introduce them, say who they are and how old they are etc and update the video every 3 months.
